A Magical Tour at the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour

As a massive Harry Potter fan I (Nabs) have wanted to visit the Warner Bros Studio Tour since it opened in 2012 and I finally got the chance to go last month!!

I bought the tickets via the website in January, 2 months in advance. The tour is very popular so I definitely recommend buying your tickets early, around a month or two before you plan to visit. You can only buy tickets online, they aren't sold at the tour. Adult Tickets (age 16+) are £30 (definitely worth the price!!) and Child Tickets (age 5-15) are £22.50.

To get to the studio I took a train from London Euston to Watford Junction and a Shuttle Bus from Watford Junction to the studio. The shuttle bus took around 15 minutes and tickets cost £2 per person return or £1.50 one way.

When buying the tickets I was given the choice of collecting my tickets on the day or having them delivered. With delivery costing £3.95, I selected the option to collect my ticket on the day. I got to the studio extra early in case there was a long queue but the queue turned out to be short so it didn't take long to get my ticket! :)

Now I took in excess of 300 photos...I think I took photos of nearly everything on the tour...my camera actually ran out of battery! I'm certainly not going to post all 300+ photos here (that would be a very long post) but I will post my favourite photos while trying not to give too much away.

The chess pieces from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

In the Gift Shop they sell costumes, broomsticks, wands, books, chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans...I wanted to buy so many things!!

The tour was booked for 10.30am and as I mentioned already I got to the studio early so I spent around half an hour in the gift shop before I had to join another queue to be let into the tour.
As you wait in the queue you get to see Harry's closet under the stairs at Privet Drive.

The Great Hall!!

Yule Ball Costumes from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Hermione's dress is beautiful!
Gryffindor Boys' Dormitory.
The beds were a lot smaller than they looked on screen.

Gryffindor Common Room.

Dumbledore's Office.
There was a massive crowd of people in front so this is the best photo that I could take from the angle at which I was standing.

The Weasley Clock

Magic is Might Statue

Hogwarts Bridge
This is sometimes open to the public but sadly on the day that I went it wasn't

The Shrunken Talking Head from the Knight Bus

The Knight Bus
I wanted to take a photo from a better angle, preferably from the front but it was very busy so this was the best I could do

I didn't want to write too much and give away any spoilers as I want you to go and enjoy everything the tour has to offer first hand! I myself am going a second time which I'm very excited about as now that I've taken photos I can concentrate a lot better on the actual tour (without wanting to take a photo of every little detail which is what I was doing the first time I went.)
